Bell Pottinger subsidiary wins Almac health contract

8th March 2010

Bell Pottinger’s subsidiary media agency Good Relations has won a contract to represent the drug development solutions company Almac Group.

The agency will be looking to help the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector business to raise the profile of the services it offers, which range from compound discovery to commercialisation, reports PR Week.

Good Relations account director Tristan Jervis will take control of the Almac campaign, which will include avenues such as print, online and broadcast media and will centre around tailored news content.

This represents Almac’s first international communications arrangement, with the consultancy winning the contract in a three-way pitch.

It will now be assisting Almac in promoting itself in the UK, Europe and the US, among other global markets.

Earlier this month, parent company Bell Pottinger was appointed by Oxford Radcliffe Private Healthcare to help it maintain its status in the competitive private healthcare sector.
