Bicalutamide launched by Consilient Health

Consilient Health has announced the launch of a new range of Bicalutamide products in a number of European markets.

The drug is to be made available by the company in 50 mg and 150 mg tablets and is designed to treat prostate cancer.

“Consilient Health is proud to announce the launch of its Bicalutamide 50mg & 150mg film-coated tablets available in blister packs of 28’s,” a statement from the company made clear.

In recent months, the same firm has announced the launch of generic drugs used to help alleviate the effects of depression and of hypertension.

Based in Ireland and with offices in various parts of the UK, Consilient has expressed its intention to expand into French, German and Scandinavian markets in the “very near future”.

The company was elected as a member of the European Generics Association in November 2005.
