Biotronik launches Quick View for Home Monitoring
Biotronik has announced the launch of a new Quick View report tool for use with its clinically proven Home Monitoring system.
The new online application allows clinicians to gain access to intuitive charts and rolling six-month trend graphs at the click of a button, making it easier than ever to assess patient data in real time.
It is readily accessible via the user's secure website and is fully compatible with all premium Biotronik devices, including Evia pacemakers and Lumax devices that are equipped with Home Monitoring.
This helps to further improve the functionality of Home Monitoring, which has been available since 2000 and is utilised in more than 3,800 clinics across 55 countries.
Dr Carsten Stoepel from the Lukas Hospital in Neuss, Germany, said: "I can easily and efficiently conduct remote follow-ups at any time, from anywhere – which is especially important following a critical event."
Last month, the company reported that it has completed enrolment for a new study of its Passeo-18 Lux drug-eluting balloon catheter, which is used to treat peripheral artery disease.
