Bite appoints new creative director
Bite has announced the appointment of comms industry professional Chris Lawrence as a new creative director.
In his new role at the agency, Mr Lawrence will oversee its creative process with the aim of developing how teams approach client briefs, while also managing its 'Play' budget – a resource dedicated to fostering creativity, reports Gorkana.
Boasting more than 20 years of experience, he joins Bite from Consolidated PR, where he also served as creative director. Additionally, he has worked as a journalist for a number of regional and national publications.
He has worked on campaigns for brands including Beefeater, Disney, Vauxhall/General Motors, HSBC, Transport for London and Universal.
Bite's managing director Kath Easthope said: "Chris stands for clarity and creativity, and even during early discussions he was obviously a Biter. He is a walking example of our campaign to stop content pollution."
The aforementioned campaign is an initiative launched by Bite to increase the standard of content marketing, in order to prevent key messages from being overwhelmed by low-quality communications.
