Boehringer Ingelheim to sponsor event at upcoming Liverpool horse show

Boehringer Ingelheim has agreed to sponsor the puissance event at the upcoming Liverpool International CSI**** Horse Show, which runs from January 1st to 3rd 2016.

The high-jump competition will be sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim's Equitop Myoplast brand in order to help raise awareness of the product's benefits amongst elite riders, owners and equine enthusiasts.

Equitop Myoplast is a natural supplement for horses that contains 18 key amino acids and is the number one equine supplement sold by veterinary practices and pharmacies in the UK. It is already used by top British riders such as Scott Brash.

Liz Barrett, equine business manager for Equitop Myoplast at Boehringer Ingelheim, said: "Puissance is French for power, so this is a perfect fit for the brand as power and strength is exactly what Equitop Myoplast provides for equine athletes."

The Liverpool International CSI**** Horse Show will be held at the Echo Arena and will feature top-class show jumping and riding performances to entertain what is expected to be a large crowd of families.

It is expected that the puissance, which takes place during the Friday evening performance, will be a key highlight.
