Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica alters Pyramid 5 vaccine packaging

22nd December 2010

Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica has introduced a redesigned package for its Pyramid 5 bovine vaccine in order to create greater continuity in its product range.

The treatment, which is used to address conditions caused by bovine respiratory syncytial virus, bovine viral diarrhoea and other ailments, has been rebranded to bring its appearance in line with other Boehringer Ingelheim offerings, while retaining its familiar yellow colour scheme.

Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica has operated the Pyramid brand of vaccines since late 2009 after acquiring the line from Fort Dodge Animal Health.

Until now, the entire range has continued to be sold in its original Fort Dodge packaging, with Pyramid 5 becoming the first product to receive an updated look.

The company stated: "Although the packaging for Pyramid 5 has changed, you'll still find the same powerful protection to aid in the prevention of disease caused by BRSV, BVD Types 1 and 2, PI3 and IBR."

Earlier this month, Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica introduced a selection of five new vaccines to its Vetera range.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800306901-ADNFCR
