Boots launches new comms campaign to promote services
Boots UK has announced the launch of a new approach to communications that will focus on the work it does to improve health and wellbeing in the broader community.
The new initiative kicks off with a compilation TV advert featuring snippets of five films, each of which is also a standalone advert that emphasises a different aspect of the services that Boots pharmacies provide.
They present Boots UK experts offering help and advice on matters such as eye checks, aiding the selection of suitable skincare products for teenagers or providing guidance for new parents at a baby soft-play area.
Helen Jeremiah, director of customer strategy and communications at Boots UK, said: "This is not just about advertising. What we are communicating is rooted in real business action and the important difference our colleagues can make in local communities."
This comes after the company recently launched a free eye-check storybook to help parents identify the first signs of eyesight problems in their children. It also worked with teen psychologist expert Tanya Byron on a major research project on teen health, wellbeing and confidence earlier this year.
