BSAVA and Vet2Vet have partnered to launch VETbytes

BSAVA and Vet2Vet have partnered to launch VETbytes, a mobile app which provides animal health experts with critical access to the latest evidence-based information. The app, which pulls content from a peer-reviewed journal and global guidelines, was founded by Bronwen Eastwood and Zoe Coker, to address the need for a mobile-friendly centralised source of evidence-based clinical guides that can be obtained swiftly by vets.

Dr Coker stated: “There is rarely time during the working day to read all the necessary journals, articles and up to date texts. VETbytes collates all the evidence on a specific medical condition and consolidates it into a short synopsis called a Keep it Simple Summary’.”

Ian Ramsey, BSAVA president, stated: “Every busy small animal clinician should try out VETbytes as it is a real paradigm shift in mobile resources for vets.”
