Buchi launches new SpeedDigester systems

Buchi has launched two new additions to its SpeedDigester laboratory equipment range, which are designed to allow for reliable treatment of samples.

The SpeedDigester K-425 and K-436 have been optimised to offer continuous control over heating levels of samples, as well as ensuring that heat is distributed homogenously.

This means that critical samples will not be susceptible to foaming, while also allowing several tubes to be boiled evenly and simultaneously.

Other benefits offered by the systems include a fully-sealed suction system, which helps to remove acid fumes, while the short heat-up and cool-down times will result in time savings for technicians.

Both instruments are also designed to be flexible, allowing both 300 ml and 500 ml tubes to be used in the same device.

Earlier this month, the company also released the SpeedDigester K-439, another addition to the product line which is designed to offer many of the same advantages.
