Burson Marsteller and Cohn and Wolfe merge

Burson Marsteller and Cohn and Wolfe, both owned by WPP, have recently merged into the 3rd largest PR firm in the world, Burson Cohn & Wolfe UK. Burson-Marsteller’s UK CEO Stephen Day and its worldwide president Kevin Ball have both left, and Rebecca Grant, MD of Cohn & Wolfe UK has taken over lead role of the UK division.

Rebecca joined Cohn & Wolfe in 2011 and has served as consumer marketing MD, head of consumer marketing EMEA and UK MD. She has also worked at Red Consultancy and Weber Shandwick, as senior director and co-head consumer, Europe. Cohn & Wolfe meanwhile won the Innovation in Healthcare Award at the 2018 Communiqué Awards for its work on the Think Act Breathe Asthma Chatbot for Boehringer Ingelheim.
