Burson-Marsteller appoints new senior adviser

7th September 2011

Burson-Marsteller has announced the appointment of Matt Miller as a senior adviser and member of its global strategy group.

Mr Miller is a noted author, columnist, radio host, television commentator and consultant, who has also acted as an aide to the US government, offering advice to high-level public and private sector bodies.

He will bring more than two decades of business experience and expertise to the media agency's strategy group, a body which includes some of the world's leading communications strategists.

Mark Penn, the company's global chief executive officer, said: "We are thrilled to welcome someone with his depth of experience and intellect to our firm's global strategy group."

Other members of this group include former White House staff members Donald Baer and Karen Hughes, with the organisation using its expertise to serve Burson-Marsteller client needs across a range of regions and practices.

This appointment comes after Richard Anderson joined the company as managing director for healthcare in Europe earlier this month.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800721893-ADNFCR
