Burson-Marsteller’s European boss wins SABRE Award

Burson-Marsteller's chief executive officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Jeremy Galbraith will be honoured at the 2012 SABRE Awards for his impressive contributions to the company's recent growth.

Mr Galbraith has been named among the recipients of this year's SABRE Awards for outstanding individual achievement, which are presented each year by industry publication the Holmes Report.

The executive has occupied his current position since 2007, joining at a time when Burson-Marsteller was recovering from a relatively slow period in its development and helping it to experience a significant resurgence.

Following Mr Galbraith's appointment, the agency has expanded its presence in the region with various acquisitions and partnerships, while many of its largest contracts – including Danone, SAP, Sony Ericsson and Shell – are led from Europe.

His contributions also helped Burson-Marsteller claim the SABRE Awards for EMEA consultancy of the year in 2009 and public affairs consultancy of the year in 2011.

The agency's EMEA network now consists of 27 wholly-owned offices, while internationally it operates in almost 100 countries.
