Camlab appoints new manager for LabService

27th April 2007

Camlab has appointed a new manager to oversee the business development of its LabService enterprise.

John Merry took up the position at the start of the month and brings a "strong scientific background" from his experience within the analytical and diagnostic sector.

Camlab states that Mr Merry will provide the company with the "right customer focus to achieve the future expansion of after-sales services".

Mr Merry commented: "I am delighted to be part of the new Camlab. It has a well established market presence in the industrial, science and utilities sector with great potential to diversify into new market areas."

He added that Comlab’s aim is to develop after-sales services further, with progress in IT service and mobile data solutions adding "real value" to customers.

The news follows reports that Camlab has released a chlorine meter, which it claims is a "truly portable instrument".
