CareFusion announces new Kit Check and Medacist collaborations

CareFusion has announced a pair of new collaborations with fellow medical technology firms Kit Check and Medacist Solutions Group.

The Kit Check collaboration will see the companies offering compatibility between their hardware, software and radio-frequency identification solutions, providing improved efficiency and accuracy in medication handling in settings such as pharmacies and operating rooms.

Many Kit Check users already utilise CareFusion's Pyxis solutions for their medication management and anesthesia workstations, so combining these capabilities with Kit Check's solutions will give pharmacy directors full medication lifecycle visibility. 

Meanwhile, CareFusion will also be working with Medacist on a project aimed at helping to detect and deter drug diversion.

Customers who use the its Knowledge Portal for Dispensing will now be able to run the full version of the RxAuditor diversion software, recognised as the leading medication diversion software in the industry.
