Carestream Dental rolls out Logicon Caries Detector software update

Carestream Dental has introduced a number of new features and services for its Logicon Caries Detector software.

Version 5.2 of the software introduces new functionality to enhance diagnosis and provides access to The Exchange, a new online resource to more efficiently support users.

This online users community provides a place to network and share software knowledge, as well as offering an opportunity to pose queries to Carestream Dental subject matter experts and access to product-specific documents that are constantly updated.

Other new features include a refined aesthetic that reduces the number of icons on the screen, introduces a new colour scheme and updates the menus to be more user-friendly.

Stephanie Lacina, Logicon product line manager at Carestream Dental, said: "The new interface has a fresh, updated look that also helps improve efficiency with new menu options and simplified tools for diagnosis."

This comes after the firm launched its new CS 3600 intraoral scanner for capturing full and dual arches earlier this month.
