Celesio UK changes its name to McKesson UK

Celesio UK has been rebranded as McKesson UK. It is the parent company of LloydsPharmacy and AAH Pharmaceuticals, with more than 1,600 branches. Both LloydsPharmacy and AAH will continue to trade under their existing names, with the business calling itself McKesson UK in communications across the UK.
Toby Anderson, CEO, said: “We have been part of the McKesson family for over four years now. In the UK, we have to be prepared to meet the evolving needs of patients and care delivery, and now seemed an appropriate time to move to our new brand. The McKesson name is one that resonates particularly with pharmaceutical manufacturers and other strategic partners that we work with. However, the millions of patients and customers we see every day in LloydsPharmacy won’t notice any difference and our AAH vans will still deliver to every dispensing point in the country. Having a strong, internationally recognised brand will help us to grow our business and continue to make our colleagues proud of where they work.”
