Cello Group agrees takeover of iS Healthcare Dynamics

Cello Group has agreed a deal to purchase iS Healthcare Dynamics, an award-winning healthcare communications agency.

The agreement will see Cello Group pay an initial consideration of approximately 2.5 million pounds, with further fees of up to 3.3 million pounds contingent on the performance of iS between now and the end of 2016.

Established by Isaac Batley and Steve Smith in 2003, Farnham-based iS employs around 50 people and specialises in medical communication services for UK, European and global healthcare clients.

Following the completion of the deal, iS will join Cello's healthcare division, Cello Health, complementing its insight, advisory and communication-based capabilities.

Stephen Highley, chairman of Cello Health, said: "Effective evidence based communications is a key imperative for our clients. iS adds significant strength and expertise in this area and complements Cello's previous acquisitions."

The Cello Health brand encompasses a number of separate divisions, including Cello Health Insight, Cello Health Communications, Cello Health Consulting, The Value Engineers and RS Consulting.
