Cello Health acquires market research company Promedica

15th December 2014

Cello Health has announced the acquisition of Promedica, a full-service market research consulting firm specialising in new product planning for life science companies.

Based in San Francisco, Promedica will work closely with Cello Health's established market research arm Cello Health Insight, as well as providing assistance to the agency's US consulting and communications business.

The newly-acquired company serves as an advisor to biotech, pharmaceutical, diagnostic firms, start-ups and the investment community, helping to inform decisions and mitigate risk through custom primary market research and thought partnership.

It represents Cello Health's second acquisition of the year and will establish the firm's presence on the west coast of the US.

Cello Health chairman Stephen Highley said: "Insight has grown tremendously from its London base, now with offices in New York and Chicago, and this move is a logical next step."

This comes after the company purchased the Farnham-based iS Healthcare Dynamics, an award-winning healthcare communications agency, earlier this year to bolster its insight, advisory and communications capabilities.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801765901-ADNFCR
