Ceva appoints director of new swine unit

10th October 2014

Ceva Animal Health has recruited an industry veteran to assist in the building of its new swine business unit.

Gary Robertson, whose past employers include Zoetis, Fort Dodge and Boehringer Ingelheim, will assume the role of director of the division, taking responsibility for overseeing product development, sales, marketing and technical services.

With 15 years of experience and a National Agri-Marketing Association's Professional Development Award of Excellence under his belt, it is hoped Mr Robertson will help Ceva continue its strategic growth in the US animal health space.

"Gary's passion and understanding of the market, along with his strong relationships in the industry, will help Ceva launch a successful swine business unit," commented Craig Wallace, chief executive and North American zone director of the company.

He added that launching a swine unit was "imperative" for Ceva to achieve its goal of becoming "a broad-based animal health company".

The company also recently established an equine division, further bolstering its animal health offering.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801753719-ADNFCR
