Ceva launches new Vectra 3D ectoparasiticide for dogs
Ceva Animal Health has announced the launch of Vectra 3D, a new product for protecting dogs against fleas, ticks and flies.
The innovative new broad-spectrum topical ectoparasiticide features a patented applicator and contains a unique formulation of three active ingredients – pyriproxyfen, permethrin and the new agent dinotefuran.
It offers complete protection against the major vectors – fleas, ticks, sand flies, mosquitoes and stable flies – and takes effect within two hours of use. Meanwhile, its unique applicator has an elongated smooth tip, making it quick and easy to reach the dog's skin through the hair.
The company will be hosting a series of informative continuous professional development meetings at prestigious venues across the UK to support the launch of Vectra 3D.
Julia Wood, product manager at Ceva Animal Health, said: "Vectra 3D is an innovative formulation which uses a unique, easy-to-administer applicator to provide complete protection against fleas, ticks and flies."
This comes after the company announced last month that its hugely successful cardiology webinar series has been made available to view on demand, having proven a huge success when broadcast live at the end of 2013.
