Ceva to provide product donations with dog rescue charity Hope Rescue
Ceva Animal Health has announced the launch of a new collaborative project, Happy Homes, with the dog rescue charity Hope Rescue.
The initiative will see Ceva donate dog beds, Adaptil collars, toys, blankets, Logic EaseFlex joint care, Logic Oral Hygiene Gel, Fiprospot flea and Cestem worming treatments to help dogs in Hope Rescue's care to settle into new homes.
Hope Rescue won the charity team of the year award at the Ceva Welfare Awards in 2014 and was subsequently nominated as Ceva’'s charity of the year for 2015, with the company raising more than 2,000 pounds to support Hope Rescue's activities.
It is dedicated to taking in and rehoming stray dogs from three local authority areas in South Wales – Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, Torfaen County Borough Council and Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.
Micky Blackburn, key account marketing executive at Ceva Animal Health, said: "We hope that our donation will help the dogs quickly adapt and settle into their new 'Happy Homes', whether fostered or forever."
Adaptil is a pheromone therapy that helps to calm and reassure dogs in stressful circumstances, with a feline version, Feliway, also available. Improved versions of both products were launched earlier this year.
