Champion Communications wins new brief with SolidFire

Champion Communications has won a new contract with SolidFire, a developer of all-flash digital storage systems.

The firm has been appointed as SolidFire's agency of record for UK press and analyst relations, and will be tasked with driving a comms strategy integrating earned media with SolidFire's inbound marketing and sales programme, reports Gorkana.

It was hired by SolidFire on account of its proven expertise in the business-to-business technology space, its in-depth specialist knowledge of the data industry and the quality of the bespoke communications strategy proposal it produced.

Founded in 2010, SolidFire is a leading developer of all-flash storage systems optimised for ensuring stable data centre performance.

Richard Cook, Champion Communications' managing director, said: "When researching SolidFire, the message we received from the media and industry experts was that SolidFire is a business whose time is now."

The agency's existing client base includes companies such as Cloud Direct, NetApp, Peer 1 Hosting and Lithium.
