Chanelle Pharma named Ireland’s Pharma Industry Company of the Year 2018

Chanelle Group is a family run company founded by its MD Michael Burke, that develops, manufactures, markets and distributes a wide range of generic animal pharmaceuticals worldwide, and holds the largest number of registered veterinary licenses of any company in Europe with over 1700 animal health licenses registered in the EU and 500 animal health licenses registered in the rest of the world. In 2017 Chanelle Vet UK won the Best Large Stand at the BEVA Congress, which was themed around its apple flavoured Chanazone (phenylbutazone) oral powder for horses, and also won the Life Science Award at Deloitte Fast 50, which ranks Ireland’s fastest growing technology companies.
This year, Chanelle Pharma was named Ireland’s Pharma Industry Company of the Year 2018 at the Pharma Industry Awards ceremony in Dublin, which recognises the most original and innovative individuals and companies that demonstrate excellence in the Irish Pharma sector. Chanelle was the only Irish Pharma company represented at the awards, and became the first Irish company to win the overall award, overcoming competition from global companies such as AbbVie, GE Healthcare, MSD and Perrigo Company. They were also awarded Pharma Company of the Year (Large) category on the night.
