CME Medical and BD announce palliative care alliance

CME Medical has announced a new UK collaboration with BD to jointly promote the latter company's Saf-T-Intima Safety Integrated IV Catheter System.

BD is keen to capitalise on the device's recent approved for use in subcutaneous infusion therapies to expand the Saf-T-Intima customer base in the UK and Ireland. CME Medical has been chosen as an ideal partner due to its heritage in the palliative care sector.

Its strong reputation for providing education, support and training across the market has been bolstered by the success of the T34 Ambulatory Syringe Pump, which has achieved wide distribution across the UK.

Routes for procurement of BD Saf-T-Intima and BD product codes will remain unchanged by the new agreement.
