Colgate launches New Colgate Kids toothpaste
Colgate has introduced a new range of children's toothpastes called New Colgate Kids, which promote better oral health through everyday usage.
Clinically proven to protect against caries in both deciduous and mixed dentition stages, the toothpastes are available for a number of age groups, with each variation containing an appropriate fluoride level.
Moreover, their attractive age-specific packaging has been designed to appeal to children while providing parents with all the necessary information on the benefits of the product.
Studies carried out over the last four decades have shown that the introduction of fluoride in toothpaste has coincided with a significant reduction in dental caries among children, but this rate of improvement has slowed in the last 20 years.
The manufacturer said: "With a new mild mint flavour to encourage better compliance, New Colgate Kids toothpaste is ideal to recommend for twice-daily supervised tooth brushing."
This comes as the company reaches the last days of its Dental Health Month initiative, which has been run throughout September 2012 with the assistance of the British Dental Association.
