Computer controlled oxygen ICU unit in place at animal hospital

31st July 2019

Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists (SCVS) have invested in a computer controlled oxygen intensive care unit for their patients.
The new unit, provided by German company IntensoVet, provides a fast oxygen supply to patients in critical care that require it, via a combination of sealed cage and a computer controlled system, which is able to adjust air temperatures (whether that be make it cooler or increase the heat) and, CO2 extraction. The unit also features a dimmable LED light for day and night mode. The unit was measured and designed specifically for the Hampshire Hospital.
