Couch appoints new staff members following Manchester move

Couch has expanded its team in the wake of its recent move to Manchester's Ancoats district, announcing the appointment of two new employees this week.

Adrian Ryan, previously a freelance designer, has been appointed as a multimedia designer, while Kay Smith joins as a creative copywriter, having formerly served as part of a communications team for the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust.

Both new staff members can offer relevant industry experience and have worked with major brands such as Virgin Media and Sony in the past, reports PMLiVE.

Couch has experienced significant growth since its foundation last year, with the recent move from London to Manchester intended to support the continuation of this momentum.

Katie Rishi, co-managing director at Couch, said: "As regular visitors to Manchester, we knew it was the right place to grow our company further and develop our team."

The agency has already amassed a roster of high-profile health and life science sector clients, including Quintiles, Shire, Unilever and Thermo Scientific.
