CVS staff member named new president of ESVOT

23rd October 2014

CVS has announced that its referral director John Innes has been voted as the new president of the European Society of Veterinary Orthopaedics and Traumatology (ESVOT).

Mr Innes has been an active member of ESVOT for several years and most recently served as its junior vice-president. He has been elected as president for a two-year term, effective as of this month.

ESVOT is responsible for spearheading the development of veterinary orthopaedics in Europe, through the provision of scientific meetings that deliver a blend of continuing education opportunities and clinical research presentation.

Membership is open to any veterinary professional or member belonging to an affiliated trade who is interested in orthopaedics and traumatology.

Mr Innes said: "During my presidential term, I am keen to encourage younger members of the profession to join the society to help develop their orthopaedic skills."

CVS has a total of 100 UK practices, operating from 268 sites, having recently acquired Castle Vets, Riversbrook Veterinary Group and West Mount Vets in Aspley.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801756225-ADNFCR
