Cynosure SmartLipo system installed in Texas

Cynosure’s new SmartLipo system has been installed in one of the manufacturer’s official preceptorship training sites in Texas, it has been revealed.

The Skintastic Medical and Surgical Skin Rejuvenation Center in North Dallas is authorised by the company as a training partner for practitioners looking to learn how to use SmartLipo.

And the facility has now installed a new model of the system with a 67 per cent increase in power output.

By switching from a six-watt system to the higher-powered ten-watt version, treatment times are cut by half, Skintastic claims, reducing associated recovery times.

Dr Jeffrey Adelglass of the facility said: "The improved body-sculpting capabilities of the new ten-watt SmartLipo system, in experienced hands, make SmartLipo one of the most dramatic minimally-invasive aesthetic enhancement procedures of all time."

Cynosure claims that the SmartLipo system is the industry’s only laser-enhanced lipolysis process designed to coagulate tissue to create a tautened skin effect.
