Dade Behring recognised as ‘excellent supplier’

Dade Behring has been recognised as an ‘excellent supplier’, it has emerged.

The company received the Pinnacle award for excellence in supplier performance for the second consecutive year recently.

Healthcare alliance Premier presented the award at its 2007 annual breakthroughs conference in Orlando, Florida, on June 19th.

According to Dade Behring, the accolade is given only to firms which meet and exceed the expectations of the alliance.

Jim Reid-Anderson, chair, president and chief executive officer of Dade Behring, said: "We are honoured and grateful to receive this prestigious award from Premier and their alliance members."

"Our employees look forward to further enhancing our relationship with Premier," he added.

Meanwhile, Premier president Mike Alkire called the firm "elite" and stated that it sets a standard for other suppliers to match.

Dade Behring recently launched the QCC PowerPak system for automating laboratory processes in order to accelerate research programmes.
