Dako says it has fulfilled sales expectations, with reported growth of ten per cent.
This compares to the eight per cent growth figure of a year ago, with pre-tax profits of DKK 122 million (£11.16 million).
Dako states "significant investments" were made with a new strategy and refocusing on the core business. It adds that product strategies are now in place, with a new line to be introduced in the second half of the year.
Patrik Dahlen, president and chief executive officer, commented: "The results for 2006 are very satisfactory. Our increased focus on pathology has enabled us to achieve our goal of increasing sales growth."
"Growth in the fourth quarter was particularly strong when we recorded overall growth of 17 per cent, with the pathology business being the main driver with 11 per cent growth," he added.
Dako specialises in cancer diagnostics and has a designated pathology lab where all cancer-related diagnoses are prepared.
