Danone appoints two new executive committee members
Danone has announced the creation of two new strategic roles within its executive committee to help develop its business into the next generation.
Lorna Davis, who has been with the company for around a decade, will join the committee as chief manifesto catalyst at the start of June, with her duties centring around leading the delivery of the company's Danone 2020 project as it works to achieve its mission for the future.
Chief executive officer of Danone Emmanuel Faber commented: "Lorna's depth of knowledge and ability to engage people across cultures has allowed her to provide innovative and highly-effective business solutions, including during her ten years at Danone."
Also joining the committee on June 15th will be Pascal de Petrini, who will fill the second new role of executive vice-president of strategic resource cycles. His job will involve trying to get the best value from the milk, water and plastics that Danone uses as its core raw materials for its products.
Their appointments mean that the composition of the company's new-look executive committee is now complete.
