Dechra appoints dedicated communications manager
Dechra has announced that Liz Rawlings has been selected as the veterinary products company's first ever dedicated communications manager.
Ms Rawlings has been with the firm since 2006 and acted as tele-account team manager prior to her selection for the newly created role.
Assigned a brief to enhance internal and external communications, she will be tasked with coordinating all media activities within the organisation, as well as developing and implementing an overall strategy for corporate correspondence.
Ms Rawlings will report directly to Dechra managing director Bob Parmenter and has expressed enthusiasm at the opportunity to ensure the business is properly engaging its veterinary sector clients.
"Effective internal and external communication is essential for Dechra to continue to grow and develop," she added.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the company provided a donation of equipment to support operations at an International Training Centre run by the Worldwide Veterinary Service in Ooty, India.
