Dechra launches anti-inflammatory drug Rycarfa

17th August 2011

Dechra has announced the launch of Rycarfa, a new multipurpose range of anti-inflammation treatments for dogs and cats.

A new addition to the company's Veterinary Essentials range, Rycarfa is being launched in tablet form to reduce inflammation and pain caused by musculoskeletal disorders and degenerative joint disease among canines, as well as postoperative pain.

It is also being released as an injection therapy for postoperative pain following orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery in dogs and as a general post-surgery pain treatment for cats.

These post-patent offerings are designed to offer proven efficacy at an affordable price, according to Dechra.

Roger Brown of Dechra said: "Through our Veterinary Essentials range, we are offering Rycarfa in a wide range of sizes to provide the maximum flexibility with cost-effectiveness."

Last month, the company announced the appointment of Craig Sankey as a new brand manager, as it seeks to strengthen its presence in the endocrinology sector.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800703087-ADNFCR
