Dechra launches brochure guide to rabbits and exotic animals

Dechra Veterinary Products has announced the launch of a new brochure providing a guide to veterinary care provision for rabbits and exotic animals.

Introduced at the recent autumn meeting of the British Veterinary Zoological Society in Luton, the leaflet contains key information on every product within the company's rabbits and exotics veterinary care range.

A series of product datasheets to accompany the publication has also been included, while a foreword written by animal health expert Anna Meredith highlights the increasing demand for high-quality veterinary knowledge and expertise in this field.

Rabbits and exotic animals are challenging to treat, as their small weight and size, specialised dietary requirements and susceptibility to stress makes it hard to get dosages right.

Carol Morgan, brand manager at Dechra Veterinary Products, said: "The new brochure explains the availability of product ranges, backed by advice, guidance and the expert support available from Dechra."

At the start of this month, Mark Floyd took over as country manager for the UK and Ireland at Dechra, following the retirement of veteran animal health professional Bob Parmenter.
