Dechra offers UK dermatitis event

Dechra has announced the launch of a free CPD event focused on dermatitis and set to take place across the UK next month.

The company said professionals in the industry can take advantage of the 2.5-hour session, in which specialist Peter Forsythe will review management, treatment and diagnosis options for pyoderma and Malassezia dermatitis.

Because these are examples of common causes of pruritis and dermatitis in cats and dogs, it is “important” to gain an understanding of them, suggested Dechra Veterinary Products manager Carol Morgan.

“Peter’s lecture is designed to be practical, interactive and will include fully-illustrated case studies that delegates will find informative,” she added.

The event is scheduled to begin at 19:30 GMT each night of its tour, which starts in Manchester on March 5th.

Meanwhile, last month saw the company launch Sedator, Atipam and Malaseb – sedation, reversal and shampoo products respectively.

The latter is licensed to control and treat seborrhoeic dermatitis.
