Dechra sponsors skin cytology CPD

Dechra has announced it is to sponsor a number of free CPD seminars held on skin cytology and interpretation.

These lessons will be given by Tim Nutall, the senior lecturer in veterinary dermatology of Liverpool University and be held in the evenings.

It said these sessions will be worth 2.5 hours of CPD, with students learning from fully-illustrated case studies to explain the use of skin cytology in a practice environment.

Carol Morgan, product manager at Dechra Veterinary Products, said: “Skin cytology is quick, easy, safe and informative, although not widely practiced.”

She added that the case studies used will bring the topic to life and be of assistance to those in training.

Earlier this week, Dechra announced it would sponsor the a scientific programme at the BEVA congress, while its own products would be available at stand 301.

The congress opened on September 10th 2008 and will run until the end of the week.
