Dechra to sponsor session at BEVA Congress

Dechra Veterinary Products has announced plans to sponsor a session on geriatric orthopaedics at the forthcoming British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) Congress.

The company will attend the Birmingham event to showcase its latest product range and support the panel, which will be presented by animal health expert Nicola Jarvis.

Presentations will be held on the management of chronic pain among equine osteoarthritis sufferers and on diagnosing and treating tendon and ligament injuries among geriatric horses and ponies.

Dechra offers a wide range of products in this field, including Equipalazone, HY-50 Vet and Vetivex.

Emma Jennings, equine brand manager for Dechra Veterinary Products, said: "We're looking forward to showing delegates how we can support them in practice, not only through our products, but also through client support material, our online resources and Veteq client leaflets."

Last month, the firm launched a series of case studies designed to aid clinicians with the treatment of otitis externa, as part of its wider health campaign Time to Change.
