Dechra to sponsor Vet Charity Challenge 2015
Dechra has announced that it will be sponsoring this year's Vet Charity Challenge, an event that sees animal health professionals engaging in activities to raise money for good causes.
The fourth annual event will take place on September 26th at Cannock Chase in Staffordshire and will involve running, cycling and kayaking races, as well as some orienteering and mental and physical tasks.
Dechra has entered a team into the Vet Charity Challenge in previous years, but will become a full sponsor in 2015, alongside BCF Technology and Kruuse. The event is also supported by the VMPA, Mojo Consultancy and Veterinary Practice magazine.
So far, the initiative has raised more than 100,000 pounds for animal-based charities. In 2015, the organisations being supported are Canine Partners, SPANA and International Cat Care.
Larry King, Dechra's marketing manager, said: "The Vet Charity Challenge helps raise a significant amount of money for worthwhile causes at home and abroad, and we look forward to being part of such a well-organised event."
Registration for the challenge will open online at the start of April, with participants encouraged to register their interest early due to the limited number of spaces available.
