Denplan to sponsor 2015 Private Dentistry Awards

Denplan has announced that it will be sponsoring this year's Private Dentistry Awards, to be held at the Park Plaza in Westminster on December 11th.

This will be the first time the Simplyhealth subsidiary has sponsored the annual awards scheme, which invites individuals, practices and dental teams to nominate themselves in a variety of categories recognising excellence in private dentistry.

Winners will be selected by a judging panel of respected industry experts, with categories including best new practice, most improved practice, best team, most invaluable member, best patient care, best employer and practice of the year. 

Other sponsors include companies such as Dentsply, Acteon, Henry Schein and Clark Dental.

Richard Ward, head of marketing at Denplan, said: "Denplan is supportive of initiatives that promote a higher calibre of patient care and we will continue to work with our member dentists to make sure that patients receive the best and most appropriate care."

The company launched a new dental partnership funding programme earlier this year, through which it will be purchasing 50 percent equity stakes in a number of member practices.
