Dentsply Sirona appoints new Chief Technology Officer

Dentsply Sirona has appointed Cord Friedrich Stähler as its chief technology officer, who will be based at their site in Bensheim. Mr Stähler brings a doctorate in human genetics and years of experience in leadership positions to this role, having worked as senior vice president and head of the global medical device and service business at Merck KGaA in Geneva, and CTO and member of the Executive Committee at Siemens Healthcare. Mr Stähler said: “I am looking forward to giving new impetus in a dynamic market environment at a global leader like Dentsply Sirona.”
Michael Geil, managing director at the Bensheim site, said: “Cord Stähler’s varied experience in technology management and company development is a huge asset for us. He will further strengthen the position of Bensheim as a location for innovation.”
