Dentsply Sirona hails success of inLab Summit CAD/CAM event

Dentsply Sirona has highlighted the recent success of its latest inLab Summit, an event dedicated to dental laboratory CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing).

Held in New Orleans last month, the summit was the seventh in a regular series and saw more than 230 laboratory professionals attending, making it the largest hands-on dental laboratory CAD/CAM event in history.

Over the two days, guests were given information about how the inLab technology can benefit a laboratory, as well as offering networking opportunities and an opportunity to see the latest product offerings.

Specifically, they were shown how inLab technology offers benefits such as all-on-four treatment concept and software design, esthetic digital wax-up and bio-faw proposal features, surgical guide design tools and Sirona Connect Scanning capabilities.

Norbert Ulmer, director of laboratory CAD/CAM offerings at Dentsply Sirona CAD/CAM, said: "The inLab community certainly came away feeling more passionate and capable of incorporating what they learned to make changes to their laboratories."

The Dentsply Sirona business was created through the merger of Dentsply and Sirona earlier this year.
