Dentsply Sirona launches new lab business unit

Dentsply Sirona has announced the establishment of a new dedicated lab strategic business unit, which commenced operations on February 1st.

The new division merges the company's successful laboratory CAD/CAM operation with its prosthetic materials business, and will provide integrated solutions for digitally equipped dentists through the inLab technology platform.

By combining all of the company's lab assets, Dentsply Sirona will be able to offer three strategic platforms: equipment, fixed and removable materials, each of which will continue to from their respective locations.

It is hoped that this move will encourage greater collaboration and the development of better, safer and faster solutions that can add value for lab partners, dentists and patients.
