Dentsply Sirona’s Intego treatment centres to incorporate Cavitron scaler

Dentsply Sirona has announced that its Intego line of treatment centres is to be upgraded with built-in Cavitron ultrasonic scaler technology.

Commencing this summer, the Cavitron built-in ultrasonic scaler will be available across the Intego range, including the standard Intego and Intego Pro Ambidextrous models. This will help users to achieve fast and effective removal of stubborn calculus.

This augments the professional dental hygiene, dental aesthetics and dental care capabilities of the Intego treatment centre lineup, which also offers features such as a double articulating headrest, external device connection, a multifunctional syringe, maintenance-free electric motors and LED operating lights.

They also offer USB connectivity to allow digital updates, as well as the use of additional applications, with an intuitive user interface provided by the EasyTouch touchscreen.

The company said: "Intego is optimally equipped for every clinical need while also being optimally prepared for long-term use into the future."

Dentply Sirona offers two main variations of the Intego range: the traditional over-the-patient configuration of Intego TS, and the continental-style Intego CS delivery system, with its whip arms and wide range of treatment positions.
