DJO Global reports strong growth performance for 2015 business year
DJO Global has announced its financial results for the 2015 business year, during which it delivered year-on-year growth.
In the final three months of 2015, the company achieved a net sales total of $308 million (218.56 million pounds), up by 6.1 percent on Q4 2014, or 9.4 percent on a constant currency basis. Its adjusted earnings also rose 3.8 percent to $68.9 million.
During the quarter, the firm was able to complete the wind-down of the Empi business, with the performance of its remaining core divisions reflecting the continued strength of the organisation.
Mike Mogul, DJO's president and chief executive officer, said: "We continue to see terrific performance in orthopaedic implants and in consumer products, along with strong better-than-market performance in our core bracing and international businesses."
For the full year, net sales rose by 2.4 percent to $1.1 billion, or 6.7 percent on a constant currency basis. Earnings were up 3.7 percent to $239.9 million.
Due to the strong slate of new products planned for 2016, DJO Global is targeting total full-year constant currency revenue growth rates of six to eight percent for the full year.
