E Europe BV launches range of refrigerators

Sanyo E&E Europe BV has announced the availability of a new range of general-purpose laboratory refrigeration units.

According to the firm, the units include an automatic refrigeration system defrost and are environmentally-friendly in their design.

Units are available in a range of sizes, from 600 litres to a maximum of 1,700 litres and either solid or double-glazed outer doors are offered.

Sanyo states that the glass door models allow the rapid location of samples while the solid door variety offers protection and security to samples that may be affected by exposure to light.

Temperatures ranging from 10 degrees C to -3 degrees C are selectable via a microprocessor controller with digital light emitting diode information display and fan circulation ensures an even temperature distribution, Sanyo asserts.

Precision temperature measurement is also ensured through a Pt1000 sensor, the firm adds.

Last month, Sanyo announced that it was to supply the Japanese Red Cross with a range of blood coolers.
