Eco Animal Health’s Equine Therapy Sold to Acme Drugs

Eco Animal Health declared the transfer of ECOmectin Horsepaste to Acme Drugs for a sum of €1.3 million.  

Eco Animal Health, a company that specialises in the development, registration, and marketing of veterinary pharmaceutical products for global animal health markets, has made the decision to transfer sales of the quine product to refine their product portfolio.  

Acme obtained all marketing, production, and distribution rights previously held by the organisation for ECOmectin Horsepaste.  

The overall payment for the acquisition totaled €1.3 million, with €0.5 million distributed once the sale and purchase agreement is completed.  

David Hallas, the leading executive of Eco Animal Health, stated, “The disposal of ECOmectin Horsepaste is in line with our stated intention of focusing on treatments and preventatives in pigs and poultry, and this enables us to increase investment in our research and development pipeline.”  

Hallas went on to add, “We continue to look for value-accretive opportunities both within our portfolio and outside and for opportunities to reinvest in our research and development pipeline to support future growth.”
