Edelman has recently acquired four new hires

Following a strong trading period in Edelman’s health business, Edelman has recently acquired four new hires.

Formerly a senior director at Edelman before joining OPEN Health in 2019, Vicky Bramham returns in Edelman’s senior leadership in the UK, taking responsibility for client services across the UK health team.

The director in Edelman’s Brussels office, Nicola Scocchi, has been promoted to head of health policy for EMEA. Scocchi has successfully expanded the Brussels health team to double the size, which he will continue to lead.

Nils Giese, former Saatchi & Saatchi head of strategy, has joined as MD of the healthcare business in Germany. Giese has worked with clients including Merck, GSK, Sanofi and Boehringer Ingelheim.

Alvaro Mateo joins Edelman as director of Health in Spain. Previously, Mateo has worked in-house as comms manager at PharmaMar and held agency roles at Ogilvy and Weber Shandwick.
