Edelman named in Sunday Times best employers list

Edelman has been included in the Sunday Times' 100 Best Medium Size Companies to Work For list for 2011.

The agency was ranked in 74th place in the annual listing, up two places compared to last year, while it also rated as the highest-placing PR firm in the report.

Edelman came third overall in terms of companies where staff feel they have opportunities to grow, while it achieved a seventh-place rating for providing employees with experience that are valuable for their future careers.

These findings were calculated following surveys of staff feedback from 1,165 different organisations, focusing on areas such as wellbeing, personal development opportunities and leadership.

Susan Eastoe, Edelman's acting chief executive officer, said: "We continually review and refresh our programmes in this area but I cannot pay high enough tribute to our people for powering through and producing such great results."

In December 2010, the company was named European media agency of the year at the 2010 European Excellence Awards in Prague.
