Eisai launches new additions to skincare series

Eisai has launched new additions to its skincare series Chocola BB, with the release of two new product lines designed to tackle blemishes and brown spots on skin.

Chocola BB Lucent C and Chocola BB Lucent C Cream will be released on March 6th and will add to the product range of Eisai’s most popular consumer healthcare brand.

While Chocola BB products already treat acne and other skin troubles, Chocola BB Lucent C helps whiten blemishes and brown spots ? which have been reported to be two of the most common skin problems for women.

Chocola BB Lucent C is a pharmaceutical product containing 600mg of vitamin C and 240mg of L-Cysteine.

A daily dosage of six tablets is indicated to promote whitening of black-melanine with a redox action, while the L-Cysteine is designed to treat blemishes and brown spots at sub-epidermal level.

Eisai is also releasing the quasi-drug product Chocola BB Lucent C Cream that prevents blemishes and brown spots by suppressing the production of melanin with vitamin C.

It also contains collagen that moisturises dry skin, the pharmaceutical firm claims.

Last month, the Eisai Research Institute and Genedata signed an agreement that saw the institute receive an Expressionist biomarker discovery platform.
